Volusion Vs. Bigcommerce Vs. 3dCart…
I have been reading a lot of reviews for the paid e-commerce software, everyone seems to say BigCommerce is THE way to go. However, after navigating around various software with the free trials, I found Volusion and 3dCart the easiest to create the design of my storefront I am looking for. But the reviews for these, are not so great.
The site is for a jewelry store that already has a long-existing popular site. So, when I change over, I really need the site to be fast, secure and be able to integrate payment gateways seamlessly. I also need great support if anything happens to go wrong.
I am very picky about the design and every time I go to make changes it seems to take a long time in BigCommerce and requires a lot of changes to the html. The templates they have aren’t what I am looking for. Should I be making my choice just based upon this? Or are other factors much more important? Are Volusion and 3dCart reliable? I am very worried because if something goes wrong, it could damage our business for the holidays!

To be honest, I haven’t really used any of these softwares, but from my experience Zen Cart has been the best. The HTML and CSS is easy to customize, and it comes with anything you need. It is also a very popular ecommerce solution with a powerful tutorial system on their website, so I would say go with Zen Cart and forget the others.
