Which ECommerce Software is Best?

Volusion Vs. Bigcommerce Vs. 3dCart…

I have been reading a lot of reviews for the paid e-commerce software, everyone seems to say BigCommerce is THE way to go. However, after navigating around various software with the free trials, I found Volusion and 3dCart the easiest to create the design of my storefront I am looking for. But the reviews for these, are not so great.

The site is for a jewelry store that already has a long-existing popular site. So, when I change over, I really need the site to be fast, secure and be able to integrate payment gateways seamlessly. I also need great support if anything happens to go wrong.

I am very picky about the design and every time I go to make changes it seems to take a long time in BigCommerce and requires a lot of changes to the html. The templates they have aren’t what I am looking for. Should I be making my choice just based upon this? Or are other factors much more important? Are Volusion and 3dCart reliable? I am very worried because if something goes wrong, it could damage our business for the holidays!

To be honest, I haven’t really used any of these softwares, but from my experience Zen Cart has been the best. The HTML and CSS is easy to customize, and it comes with anything you need. It is also a very popular ecommerce solution with a powerful tutorial system on their website, so I would say go with Zen Cart and forget the others.

What shoppingcart, ecommerce builder is good?

So I almost signed up for 3dcart but after reading reviews I saw some bad reviews for there site, I was wondering if there was any recommendation as if I should use Shopify or Volusion? I am a small business that just opened recently. Thankyou

Hi. Are there any webstore shopping carts that have the features and ease of use as the one at 3dcart.com, but are free or low cost? 3dcart costs a minimum of .95 per month and has a set-up charge. I already have webspace I’m paying for with a free Oscommerce site on my webspace, but Osc is way too complicated for me, and changing the look or operation of an Oscommerce site is very time consuming. I’m looking for something that’s easy to use like 3dcart, but is free. Thanks for any help you can give.

Web making, please help!?

Firstly a quick intro on what im doing then I’ll ask my question. So, im 14 and wanting to start up an Online aquatic shop as cheap as possible to maximise profits Im currently looking at these different e-commerce building sites:

EKMpowershop

Volusion

Bigcommerce

3Dcart

All webdesign sites. Im currently using the free trial on all of them to test them out but im so confused using them. Im so used to the Moonfruit type of ways by literally dragging in a video from the side bar, and just selecting and moving something else, i would use moonfruit but they dont have a cart. So my last option i think is to use HTPL ( i think) which is using text but im no good, could someone give me some videos, advice or even more websites that are easier to use than Htpl sites

Mike,

When you use a hosted shopping cart like Bigcommerce or Volusion, you can manage to get your store up and running without coding anything. No need for HTML or CSS modification. It is very useful to have some basic knowledge tough, but it is not essential.

I would strongly recommend to call the Bigcommerce customer service and ask them to help you get started. I’m talking more about Bigcommerce because I used it more than Volusion or 3Dcart. But all of them will get you started if you call them. Once you understand how the admin panel works, you will realize they do what ever they can to make it as easy to use as possible.
